Design Faster Smarter Together With AI

At CYFRON SOFTWARE TRADING, we spend a lot of time thinking about what makes an interface work: clarity, function, and just the right amount of visual character. When inspiration is high, these elements converge naturally. But when that creative well runs dry—as it did for one of our designers during a recent rebrand project—it takes more than artistic instinct to move forward.

In that moment, the challenge wasn’t technical. The tools were ready, the brief was clear, but the clarity just wasn’t there. So instead of pushing further into design fatigue, the designer made a turn—turning to the AI-powered features in KD.

Using KD’s flows and smart artboards, the designer prompted the AI with a mix of style suggestions: “bold,” “modern,” and an honest “don’t suck.” The goal wasn't to replace human input, but to surface possibilities our instincts hadn't yet uncovered.

What followed was a burst of concepts—some near misses, some too off-mark—but one design stood out. It wasn’t a finished product, but it offered a structure and tone that felt right. We refined the layout, adjusted spacing, and pushed the color palette into a space that felt truly aligned with the client’s identity. Mock-ups were created within the platform, making it easy to test the design across various applications.

By the time the presentation was sent off—roughly 30 minutes after the AI-assisted session began—what had started in creative gridlock had turned into a compelling set of brand visuals. The client’s feedback was direct and enthusiastic: They saw themselves in the new designs.

This process didn’t just solve a short-term design challenge. It offered a glimpse into how AI can help designers and developers stay in motion, especially when traditional inspiration falters. It’s not about handing the wheel over. It’s about giving the process a nudge when it needs one.

For product teams and developers, this moment highlights something deeper. Tools that integrate AI in practical, responsive ways—like KD’s latest features—enable faster exploration without compromising design integrity. They give us faster feedback loops, smarter iteration, and, ultimately, more room to focus on what matters: shipping solid, user-focused products with clarity and style.

At CYFRON, we see technologies like this not as shortcuts, but as support systems. They don’t take the place of good design thinking—they help us remember where it begins.
